Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot in a single layer.
  • Add the diced onion over the chicken, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken and onion.
  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the chicken and onion.
  • Arrange the pepperoncini peppers on top, scattering them across the chicken.
  • Pour the juice from the pepperoncini evenly over the entire mixture.
  • Add the sliced butter on top of everything.

Notes

For best results, use fresh or thawed chicken, layer ingredients properly, and adjust seasonings to taste. Can be served with rice, mashed potatoes, or in a sandwich.
